The Name Game

             One of the hardest things for me to do is to come up with names for my quilt patterns.  Some names are definitely easier to come up with than others.  Backsplash was probably the name that came easiest to me.  Or maybe it was Ladybug Parade.  Sundial was definitely the hardest.  My mom and I tried out so many names I eventually had to write them down.  Then, all of a sudden, the word “sundial” came to my mind and I knew that was it.

                In all honesty, that is how it usually works.  A word or phrase comes to mind and it just feels right.  Too bad it couldn’t always happen as fast as it did with Backsplash.
