             Even though I am a creative person, and I love being creative, one of the things I like most about quilting is the math.  I have a great time figuring out how much yardage I need and what size pieces to cut.  Each quilt is different, creating an entirely new challenge.

           Math is what I love about designing too.  Seeing what shapes and sizes fit into a specific space.  Rearranging them to fit better or look a different way.  Using geometry in this way, there are so many possibilities for how a quilt design will turn out.

                For me, quilting is a puzzle, math, and logic all rolled into one.  And I love it.
