What to Do While Sewing

             I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned before how different my mom and I are when it comes to sewing.  She can sew for hours.  I have the attention span of a gnat.

                This might be why we watch different things while we sew.  (Really, they just play in the background.)  I watch TV shows, either on TV or DVD.  That way I can have a mental clock of how long I have been sewing.  It’s surprising if I get through two TV episodes.  Three is even more rare.

                My mother will watch TV shows too, except for her a whole chunk of episodes will play.  Other times she’ll watch a movie.  Possibly several of them back to back.  How she can sew for that long, I have no idea.
